Akutso Design Lab is a registered not-for-profit multidisciplinary creative lab located in Accra, Ghana. We are a satellite community and operate from remote locations in Accra.
‘Akutso' means neighborhood/community in the Ga language. Our main goal is to create a safe space; a community of creatives who are interested in exploring ways by which art and design can be pushed beyond their current limits, stereotypes and theories via collaborations.
We do this by crafting awesome experimental projects by leveraging diverse skills from the fields of design, arts and technology.
We are here to research, experiment, learn, share and inspire.
